Toni loves top-ten lists, she also loves surveys and polls. She is also philanthropic. A couple of her writer friends had given her links to their pages on Squidoo.com called "Lenses." When she found out that she could add all of her books (with purchase links) a bio, and top-ten lists and surveys within just a few minutes she was sold. As with many free sites, there is a goodly amount of advertising on Squidoo pages, but they give you the option of designating a percentage of the advertising revenue from your Lens to a charity of YOUR choice. She was sold (although she didn't actually 'buy' anything.)

Some recommendations:

• register tonitarantula.com and point it to her Squidoo Lens
• create a blog on Blogger (a little better traffic, and link it back to the Lens)
• Facebook account and fan page
• MySpace account (since her fast car hot series is also popular with YA readers)
• research the internet for forums on cars (especially exotics) and join, just not spammy in her approach to posting or they will bounce her like a Yugo from a Concours d'Elegance.
