Wendy writes fun books and stories for younger children and grade schoolers. She wants her website to be as fun as her books. A bit of a geek, she's experimented a bit with web pages and some of the basic tools. She likes animation, but can't justify the expense of some of the full-blown graphics animation software out there. While researching on-line, she found an inexpensive program called Kool Moves and down loaded a trial version. She became fairly proficient in only a couple of hours.

With a basic single web page created in a simple text editor, she was able to create a wrapper for her animated website and set up a basic hosting account for wendywolfspider.com.

• Plan to install a WordPress or CMS application for future expansion. She can still use her .SWF animation files within the CMS environment.
